its been a long time since i've last been here... haha... welll.. ive been wanting to post about what happened the previous saturday... satarday... sat*wateva*day... 25th nov... my maternal family... lets see... my mum's dad... my mum's brother and his family... my mum's sister and her family... and my mum's family... we went to a place called Spring Court for dinner... it is opposite Chinatown Point... and it was after my organ lesson... so we had to rush down... when we reached there... we were the first to arrive... it seems we were in a room where you can sing karaoke... so we were looking through the files with the songs... fyi... only 3ppl officially sang into the mike... my mum's sister-in-law... my sis... and my mum's dad... the rest of the time... while we were eating... we listened to songs... but no one sang... everyone ate the set dinner... the kinda like... $300+++ and they give you a list of food and stuff... but most of the food was stuff i dint eat... so i ended up having fried rice... at the end of the course it was like 9++pm... and we were waiting for desert... so we played more songs and my dad...though he said he dint wana sing... was singing ... but not into the mike... me too... i couldnt help myself... i was singing too... and like... singing... and singing... i even requested the song zhi4 shao3 hai2 you2 ni3... and i was singing... haha...
oh yes... there was this dish that was DAMNED cool i tell you... its called Flamed Drunken Prawns... its literally drunken prawns cos they immerse the prawns while they are still alive inside wine... then swirl it round manytimes... when the cooked it... they put it in the stove and here comes the cool part... they actually used the spatula... filled it with wine... stuck it into the flames... and when it caught fire... they poured it onto the prawns... the prawns literally burst into flames... cool rite??? they did that 2 times... and the smell of wine was unbearable... further more... i cant eat prawns!!! argh... but i still think the prawns were rather poor things... forced to take in wine... then flamed alive... *sigh*... well... i think thats about it... haha...
